Shades of Blue Collection.  I have linked a few pieces of different colors of blue. Blue is calming and these colors are truly calming in color.  As always the links to follow are under each piece of the collection. Shades of Blue Glass Pearl necklace. 

Made up of 6mm, 8mm, and 10mm glass different colored pearls.

6mm and 8mm pearls are capped with filigree silver caps.

10mm and 12mm beads are capped with silver tone caps.

Necklace is handmade, brand new, and never worn.

Strung on flexible wire with lobster claw clasp.

At 24 inches long this is longer than most.

Cancer Awareness Bracelets

I have been busy making bracelets. I have sold a few, not enough though.  I have been thinking about renting a table at craft fairs this spring and summer.  I could only do that once a month since my full time job requires me to work on weekends. My ultimate goal is to be able to make jewelry full time.  Actually I am making jewelry full time. I create new designs daily. This is really a full time job by the time I create the design, make the bracelet, take the pictures then list them on eBay http://myworld.ebay.com/spovio and Etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop/Suestreasures2012.  Right now both sites are barely paying themselves.  By luck I did sell a few this month to help cover the costs of listing them.  In reality I make the jewelry for fun and sell them to be able to make more. Below are a few of the new bracelets I have made in the last few days.  I have started something new. I now add a heart charm instead of the hope ribbon.   I would like all of us who have been touched by cancer to remember the love we have for sufferers, survivors, and of course those of who have been the caregivers.

I do not think the pictures do the pieces justice.  It is very difficult to get the sparkle of the crystals in a picture.  I am still working on ways to get the best pictures so it shows how good they look.  I always welcome the comments from anyone who has purchased one.

Success for Today

Success! I sold three bracelets and a "lucky beads" looks like a prayer beads.  They could also be called prayer beads.  I am so elated they are selling because I need the second income.  I also like that they are making people happy and they compliment them all the time.  I take great pleasure in the fact people enjoy them and wear them.  I wear bracelets I make all the time.  It is one way for me to test how they hold up.  It did take me some time to be able to crimp them so they hold, but once the process is learned it actually comes easier each time.

Creating new merchandise

I have added new items to my eBay sales pages.  www.ebay.com .  They are little trinkets to carry to make anyone feel better.  I enjoy making them and they are very easy.  Anyone can make them.  I usually move the table by the TV and watch the shows I like in the evening as I create new pieces. 



These are Inspiration beads made with Turquoise gemstones and moonstones. The charm has "imagine"
